  • This place is amazing looking and has incredibly architecture. You lot tin can get a pretty skilful look at the area around the palace. Information technology COULD be a potentially peaceful spot to sit and relish nature, merely my visit was interrupted by the abiding flow of Instagram and Tik Tok "influencers" who are more interested in their clout than preserving the peace/harmony of the area. I'thou guessing this is a pretty normal thing for San Francisco though, so maybe locals are more than used to it than I am.

  • Great park with expansive trails and scenery. Definitely a few miles if you desire to walk to the coast. Plenty of places to stop on the way

  • The climb up here is something else, simply if yous determine to climb to the top either in a vehicle or by walking, it's worth it. The entire city is in front end of you. Just try not to do it on a windy day!

  • I probably would had given it a miss if I was not there to take ferry to the nearby islands ie. Sausolito and Angel Isle, passing it as another transportation hub.

Male child, I was incorrect!!. Besides the terminal itself being a hsitorical site, information technology allso housed many food artisan merchants that brings together the food traditions of the Bay Area where we tin find some exquisite nutrient gourmet emporiums with loads of restaurants for good meals offering outdoor seatings.

In that location are farmers market on Tuesday, Thursday (10am- 2pm) and Saturday (8am - 2pm).
I sympathise that the Farmers Market place is a California certified farmers market operated by the nonprofit Centre for Urban Teaching about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA), widely acclaimed for their quality and diverseness of fresh farm products, and artisan and on-site prepared foods.

    A pretty interesting to exxplore.

The view from the height of Lombard street is cute, you become to see the bay. Walking downwardly was cracking but walking back up I think I nearly died.

Information technology was something nice to do for half-hour. Its a shame the flowers wasn't in flower.

  • We found a identify to sit down along the Bay to enjoy our lunch. The view of the water and the Bridge was superb. One of the best physical features of the expanse.

  • A must encounter in San Francisco.
In roughly 30 minutes, you lot can get a very practiced overview of the super interesting history of the Cable Car, with lots of historical pictures.
Entrance is free, and regularly you can just sit outside in the street corner to come across those cars passing by.

  • Tons of stores and restaurants along the pier; there is no style you can't find something to eat and/or buy while hither. Most of the stores are very much geared towards tourists and therefore overpriced, but notwithstanding worth the trip. Depending on which restaurant you go to, the prices tin be off-white. On the due west side of the pier, yous tin usually get good views of the sea lions. One major drawback is that this place is VERY crowded.

  • Very fun drove of games and amusements, ranging from some very former mechanical machines up to more recent "classic" electronic arcade games. Entrance is free and the machines accept quarters (in that location are modify machines on-site). The only downside for me was covid safety - it was quite busy and information technology wasn't obvious how often / if the controls are being cleaned.

Also - as a general SF point - if you are driving there do NOT leave annihilation in your auto. We parked nearby for an hour (decorated street, daylight) and came back to find a smashed window and everything taken, including large suitcases. Someone else making a police report at the same time had their car in a manned lot and it all the same got targeted. It is apparently a massive problem beyond the city only unfortunately we didn't know this until afterwards.

  • Nice park, decent views of the coast and great views of the Golden Gate Bridge. There are plenty of places to stop in or most the park. Somehow, nosotros missed the Yoda Statue.

  • My visit was in early February, and found it rather placidity probably due to lack of tourists attributed by Covid.

Many shops and restaurants were too non in operations, equally such the entire identify was even quieter by 7pm.

Even so, was still an interesting place to explore minus the crowd and managed to detect some skilful eats like deep fried calamari or prawns and clam chowder from whatever of the 2 corner shops nearest to the Fisherman's Wharf iconic signage - something not to exist missed if we love deep fried items.

Fisherman's Wharf is hands attainable by Powell-Stonemason and Powell-Hyde cable car line and also the tram or streetcar Line F.

  • The beach here is very nice, however it can exist busier, even on crappier days. They don't recommend swimming here due to sharks and the rip currents. But it is a very nice beach.

  • The steps are steep but lovely. The wonderful thing is that as y'all climb the steps, higher portions of the mosaic come into focus, and each department is a new treat. A afar picture just can't do the artwork justice.

At the top, turn around and wait down to a gorgeous urban view over the bay. Then go along across the street to your right and up the stairs (not nearly then impressive, but stairs) to Grandview Park.
